Photo Session: Khamari is 2 Now!

The maternal side of my family is very close. With the hectic lives that we all have sometimes it’s hard to get us all together in one place at one time. But when we do get together we have a BLAST. I am blessed to have a cousin only 1 year (wink) older than me right here in the Tampa Bay area. We promised each other that we would not allow ourselves to be this close and not see each other more often.

{Ironically even though we live about 30 minutes away from each other, we always seem to meet up in Tallahassee which seems to be our family headquarters as that is where we always seem to gather. Blame it on being a family of Rattlers I guess; in addition, to the place where my great-grandmother (the matriarch) lives. }

So yesterday we got together and I was able to capture these photos of her son (my baby cousin) at the playground. I won’t post the pictures of what he looked like when it was time to leave … those are reserved as blackmail photos for when he gets older and is trying to impress the ladies, but here are some of my favorites.

  I love the pictures, but I love the blog even more. You know that I feel that FAMILY is most important and “cousins” are very special to each other.

    Thanks Auntie! You are in part the reason why we all are so close, we appreciate all of the family gatherings in which you plan and host and cook.

    In case you didn’t catch it that was my public directive to call my auntie; I’m dailing her number right now.

  These are great pictures…..Girl I did not know you had it in you I knew had SOMETHING but not this LOL. Seriously, the pictures and the webpage are great.You are a very talented, gifted young(kind of) lady. You have a serious gift. I never got the pictures I wanted for Stephanie’s sweet 16. So I would like to commission(yes pay…not the family “free” rate)you to take them for me,as well as,some tennis and senior pictures.

  I love these pics! Khamari is growing up so fast!I do wish all of yall could come to Tally more. I miss our Easter & Homecoming get togethers.
